JH Computing Repairs & Sales Policy

Thank you for choosing JH Computing. We are committed to transparency, quality service, and customer satisfaction. Please carefully review our repair and delivery policy below, which applies to all services provided.

1. Diagnostic Fees

We offer free diagnostics for issues that take less than 4 hours to identify. If diagnostics exceed 4 hours, an hourly fee will apply. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, any applicable diagnostic fee must be paid before the device is returned.

2. Labor & Additional Issues

Labor charges are based on the complexity and duration of the repair. If new problems are discovered during the process, we will contact you for approval before proceeding with further repairs or applying additional labor costs.

3. Non-Repairable Devices

If a device is deemed beyond repair, you are still responsible for any labor or diagnostic charges already incurred. We will return the device in the same condition as received.

4. Parts & Prepayment

All replacement parts must be paid for in advance before installation. We use only high-quality parts sourced from reliable vendors. Custom-ordered or special parts may have longer delivery times and are non-refundable once ordered.

5. Payment & Device Collection

The full balance for labor and parts must be paid before your device is released. JH Computing reserves the right to withhold any device until the full invoice amount has been settled in full.

6. Storage Fees

Devices not collected within 21 days of completion notification will incur a storage fee of R50 per day. After 60 days, devices may be sold, donated, or recycled to recover costs unless prior written arrangements have been made.

When choosing device delivery, customers must provide accurate collection address and package dimensions (length, width, height, weight). Insurance cover for transit is optional but recommended. JH Computing is not liable for damage, loss, or delays caused by third-party couriers.

Please back up all data before submitting your device. JH Computing is not liable for data loss. If data recovery is required, it must be requested in advance and may incur an additional charge.
