Callout Policy
Callout Fee
A standard callout fee of R350 applies per visit. This fee covers travel time and the initial on-site inspection within a 40 km radius of our main service area. For distances beyond 40 km, additional charges may apply at R5 per km (round trip).
Service Hours
Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:00
Saturday: 09:00 – 13:00 (by appointment only)
Sunday & Public Holidays: Closed or emergency callouts by prior arrangement (subject to availability and additional fees).
Scope of Service
- Computer and laptop repairs
- Network setup and troubleshooting
- On-site diagnostics and hardware installations
- Software configuration and system upgrades
- Business IT and technical support
Payment Terms
All callout fees are payable on completion of service unless otherwise arranged. Invoices will include the callout charge and any additional labour, parts, or materials required.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the scheduled appointment may be subject to the full callout fee.
Rescheduling is allowed at no charge if done at least 2 hours in advance.
Liability
While every effort is made to ensure the highest standard of service, JH Computing is not responsible for any data loss or secondary damage resulting from repairs or technical work, unless due to proven negligence.
