Website & Domain Refund Policy
Refunds for Website Development
When signing up for website development services with JH Computing, please note the following refund terms:
- Refunds are only applicable if no work has been started on the project.
- If any work has already begun (design, setup, content structuring, hosting setup, theme installation, etc.), the client will be liable for the costs of all work completed up to the cancellation date.
- If more than 50% of the project has been completed, no refund will be issued for the project.
- All deposits are non-refundable once development work starts.
Cancellation of Website Services
Clients may request cancellation of website development or hosting services at any time. However:
- You remain responsible for any outstanding balance and work costs already completed before the cancellation date.
- If hosting has already been activated for the month, hosting fees for that month are non-refundable.
- Any future scheduled development work will stop immediately upon cancellation.
Domain Registration & Transfers
When JH Computing registers a domain name on your behalf, the following rules apply:
- If the domain has already been registered, you are fully liable for the cost of the domain — even if you later cancel your website project.
- If you request the domain to be transferred to your own registrar, all outstanding domain registration fees must be paid first.
- Domains are registered on an annual basis and must be renewed before expiry to avoid loss of the domain.
Payment Terms
- Monthly hosting or maintenance payments must be made on time as agreed.
- If payment is not received within 1–2 days of the due date, the website may be suspended until the outstanding amount is paid.
- Re-activation of hosting after suspension may include an administration fee.
- Continued non-payment may result in permanent removal of hosting data after reasonable notice.
Non-Refundable Services
The following services are strictly non-refundable once activated or delivered:
- Domain registration and renewal fees
- Hosting setup and monthly hosting fees
- Email setup and configuration services
- Third-party software, plugins, or theme purchases
